Hi there! I am a Data Engineer at Algolia in Los Angeles, CA. I am passionate about applied mathematics and using technology in ethical ways. Some of my favorite hobbies include surfing and playing bridge (yes, that card game your grandma plays). My goals are to complete my Master's of Data Science at University of California Berkely, and to pursue a career in data science and machine learning. Please contact me using the form below!
Inspired by Google and Standfords experiment, Smallville, I created Catville using Ollama's Mistral 7B LLM. Characters interact in a simulated town each day based on their personalities, relationships, and histories. At the end of each day a summary of Catville's happenings are summarized and sent out via newsletter the next morning.
Developed a convolutional neural network (CNN) with my colleagues at UC Berkeley to distinguish AI generated images from photography images. Our best model had 227 million parameters and reached 79% accuracy on the test set.
Relevant projects include creating a convolutional neural network to predict whether or not an image was AI generated, a machine learning api packaged and deployed with Kubernetes, an EDA on Formula 1 statistics, and a statistical regression on US citizens from census data to predict their income.
